General Rate Increase




LOGISTICS
Our Logistics Department consists of traffic personnel, breakbulk agents and international transportation specialists. Traffic will coordinate with the piers and steamship companies involving the discharge and availability of your cargo. We arrange for payment of freight and terminal charges plus endorse and deliver the original ocean bill of lading to the steamship line or agent, as required. Using a variety of carriers to meet your specific needs, quotations are available on all inland movements from port of discharge to ultimate destination. Routing instructions are noted, and inland freight is normally prepaid by us and included on our customs clearance invoice. We will followup to ensure timely movement and delivery of your cargo.

Tracing of your shipments from beginning to end is monitored by our staff. We will advise you of the daily status of your shipments through telephone updates, or through a Transportation Report by facsimile or PC and modem; the report outlines activity on each shipment. If your shipment is especially hot, traffic will contact all carriers involved to expedite delivery in the shortest possible time.

ALL FREIGHT INTERNATIONAL provides air and ocean rate quotations on shipments from foreign ports to the U.S. and Canada. We have established a strong network of overseas agents and can provide rate quotations on all of your import cargo. This network enables us to oversee movement of your cargo from pickup in the country of origin to delivery at final destination. We prepare one single billing for all charges related to your shipments, including Customs charges. In addition our agents are available to assist you and your suppliers in all aspects of your cargo movement. Our ocean container consolidations assure timely movement of less than-container-load cargo at very competitive rates. We quote full container and oversized cargo rates if required. We receive pre-advises and documents shortly after cargo departure, and can coordinate and expedite shipments as required.

Our overseas agents inform us by facsimile of your air cargo departures. We then monitor the progress of your shipments to arrival at destination airport. Documents are picked up as soon after arrival as possible, and prompt arrangements are made for Customs release and delivery.
